After reading Joe Morlan's posting of the Long-tailed Ducks at the Berkeley 
Pier, I went there this morning and at 11:00 am I was able to relocate one 
of the ducks swimming in with the Surf Scoters on the south side of the 
pier.  It appears to be an adult spring female (per Sibley).
