[EBB Sightings] Lake Merritt gull search

In an early morning search for the Franklin Gull (didn't find it) I watched 
a dumpster diving BC Night Heron. Giving up on trying to reach the 
garbage-goodies by standing on the lip of a standard  square city cardboard 
garbage container it dropped feet first and out of sight, to come up with a 
chicken bone,  which it swallowed whole. The Cedar Waxwings were found again 
on the utility side of the Garden Center. There was one proud set of Canada 
geese with their lone day(s) old fluff ball of a  gosling, grazing on the 
grass.
